Accessibility Services

The University of Chicago Press’s BiblioVault can assist accessibility offices at institutions of higher learning by providing access to books for students who have disabilities which prevent them from using these books in printed form.

To determine if an electronic version of a title might be available from the BiblioVault, search for the book using the BiblioVault Accessibility Services web page. Please keep in mind that if a book is not in the BiblioVault, we cannot provide electronic files for it, and also that not all books in the BiblioVault have files suitable for disability use.

If you find that a book you need is included in the BiblioVault, please fill out this request form and return it to the Press. The BiblioVault will fulfill the request as quickly as possible, although they cannot guarantee that you will receive files in less than two weeks.

The BiblioVault will bill the accessibility office a service fee, to cover the cost of preparing the file and transmitting it: $8.00 for FTP transmittal and $10.00 + shipping costs for transmittal on CD-ROM.
