Comprehensive
Early Stimulation Program for Infants (CESPI) is a comprehensive, step-by-step
program created to develop a child's speech, language, cognitive, and social
skills. It differs from other approaches to therapy in that it was designed
with a "whole child approach" that includes sensory and motor
components in addition to language stimulation activities in order to enhance
learning through whole-body experiences. It also improves upon other programs
by enabling users to record data and report progress. Written by therapists
for therapists, CESPI helps reduce the burden of planning sessions and preparing
activities. The package consists of an Instruction Manual, an Early Interventionist's
Workbook containing the therapy modules, and a Parent/Caregiver Workbook
that includes activities for use by parents and other caregivers in between
therapy sessions, thereby empowering families to participate in their child's
progress. |

stimulation program of developmentally appropriate activities that integrate
skills from all developmental domains."
