Established in 2012, supports books in the Made In Michigan Writers Series.
FRIENDS OF THE GREAT LAKES SERIES ENDOWMENT
Established in 1988, supports books in the Great Lakes Series.
BERTHA & HYMAN HERMAN MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT
Established in 1990 from the estates of Bertha and Hyman Herman, supports books in the general area of Jewish music, art and culture.
PRESS ENDOWMENT
Provides a general annual operating subsidy for the Press.
LEONARD & HARRIETTE SIMONS FAMILY ENDOWMENT
Supports books carrying the Simons Endowed Family Fund imprint.
GOLDMAN SCHOLARLY PUBLICATION ENDOWMENT FUND
Established in 2001 with a gift from Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Miro in honor of Bernard and Norma Goldman, supports the publication of scholarly books focused on historical, classical, and critical studies in the arts, as well as scholarly works in women’s studies, Jewish studies, art and regional history.
THELMA GRAY JAMES ENDOWMENT FUND
Established in 1988 from the estate of Thelma Gray James, supports books in the field of folklore and fairy tale studies.
ARTHUR L. JOHNSON AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES ENDOWMENT FUND
Established to support scholarship and creative works representative of the historical, social, cultural, and economic experiences of African Americans through the Press’s African American Series.
