Book Launch: The Lives of Jewish Things

Join us to celebrate the recent publication of The Lives of Jewish Things: Collecting and Curating Material Culture, an edited volume originating from the 2018 Wandering Objects symposium jointly organized by the North Carolina Museum of Art and the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

This event features presentations and conversation with editors and authors Gabrielle Anna Berlinger and Ruth von Bernuth (professors, UNC–Chapel Hill) and Curator Emeritus John Coffey (NCMA). The presentation will be followed by a coffee reception, and copies of The Lives of Jewish Things will be available for purchase.
