Celebrate Michigan literature with the 2025 Michigan Notable Book Celebration!

We are pleased to have two Michigan Notable Books this year: When Detroit Played the Numbers by Felicia B. George and What Can the Matter Be? by Keith Taylor!

             

Evening Schedule

4:30-5:45 p.m. – VIP/Sponsor Pre-event Reception / Rare Book Room
5:45-6:00 p.m. – Gathering in the Library of Michigan Forum
6:00-730 p.m. – Night for Notable Program with Keynote Speaker
7:30-9:00 p.m. – Afterglow Reception / Book Signing with Authors throughout the Library

Parking is free in the Library parking lot immediately in front of the building. The suggested dress is business dressy. Light appetizers and beverages are included in your event registration.

Books from our Michigan Notable Authors will be available for purchase that evening in the Michigan Historical Center Store.
